BPS is one of the most prominent public port stewardship institutions in Korea that specializes in port security. It has developed alongside Busan Port since its establishment a half century ago.

Busan Port is Korea’s first international port and it processes 80% of container cargo, 40% of sea cargo transport, and 42% of seafood production in Korea. Busan Port is indeed becoming the main port in East Asia, expanding its services beyond cargo transport to tourists who travel by sea.
